Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a software developer to contribute to full-stack Java applications, tackling design and architecture tasks, and collaborating with architects, designers, and product managers to meet project goals.

The role requires Java 11+/17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database expertise (PostgreSQL/MySQL). You will also work with React/Next.js and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development. A BS in CS or related field and 3+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, with proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Write code and contribute to the development of software applications, modules, or components.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, architecture, system integration, testing, and project management.
• Partake in testing code to identify and fix bugs and ensure quality and reliability.
