DTCC Tampa seeks a senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications. You will own RESTful services, contribute to microservices architecture, and collaborate with business partners to convert requirements into robust solutions.

The role emphasizes performance tuning, CI/CD, security-by-design, and cross-team collaboration. Candidates should have strong Java/Spring experience, containerization skills, and a track record delivering complex systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and supporting large-scale enterprise systems.
• Expert-level Java development (Core Java, Java EE) and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot/Spring Cloud), including REST API design standards and backward compatibility.
• Proven experience leading microservices architecture and domain modeling with legacy integrations.
• Strong fundamentals across web technologies and service integrations with API/UI contracts.
• Strong database engineering skills (Oracle preferred) with SQL/PL/SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes); OpenShift a plus.
• CI/CD ownership with Git, Maven, Jenkins; knowledge of branching/release strategies.

Responsabilités

• Act as a technical expert on applications utilized by DTCC.
• Work with Business System Analyst to ensure designs satisfy functional requirements.
• Partner with Infrastructure to deploy optimal hosting environments.
• Tune application performance to eliminate issues.
• Research and evaluate technical solutions aligned with DTCC standards.
• Align risk/control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalate appropriately.
• Apply different software development methodologies per project needs.
• Contribute to design of components or programs and participate in testing.
• Support development teams, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Create applications and unit test cases ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Advance practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
