Job summary

Alliance Engineering Groupe Fortil in Wisconsin seeks a senior Java developer to design, implement, test and maintain robust software applications. You will analyze user needs, produce technical analyses, and work within an Agile/Scrum team to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of Java experience, strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring, Maven, and frontend skills in Angular or React. Fluency in French or Dutch and working knowledge of English are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+ (Spring, Reactive Streams, Maven).
• Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Database knowledge (Oracle, SQL, DB2).
• Experience with IntelliJ or similar IDE.
• Solid frontend experience in recent Angular versions (React a plus).
• Familiarity with ngrx, OpenID Connect, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, SASS.
• JSON Form knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and assess technical feasibility
• Produce technical analysis and documentation for application changes
• Test solutions and ensure they meet quality standards
• Monitor production, fix issues, and continuously improve applications
• Handle service requests and bug resolution
• Act as technical advisor for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop new features and bug fixes in Java, following existing patterns and team standards
• Participate actively in the team's Agile/Scrum process
• Document applications (user manuals, processes, etc.)
