Job summary

Everforth Apex in Atlanta, GA is seeking a seasoned Full Stack / Java Application Developer to join a team delivering cloud-enabled enterprise applications across front-end and back-end.

You will design, develop, and enhance REST APIs, microservices, and reusable components using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and AWS, while collaborating with architects, QA, and operations to ensure quality, performance, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Hibernate, JPA, or other ORM frameworks.
• Experience integrating applications through messaging technologies such as JMS.
• Understanding of SDLC practices including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS technologies.
• Build scalable, reusable services and components that support enterprise software development initiatives.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs, business services, and user-facing web applications.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in application design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
• Support shift-left testing initiatives by incorporating automated testing and quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create technical documentation and contribute to application design discussions.
• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues through research, debugging, and root cause analysis.
• Help modernize and improve existing applications using cloud-native and microservices-based approaches.
