NTT DATA Services in the United States is seeking a Tech Consultant - Senior Java Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. Hybrid work model across multiple locations including New York, NY, Arlington, VA, and St. Louis, MO.

6+ years of experience and strong cloud-native design skills are required. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and modern frontend tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and enterprise application development.
• 4+ years of experience in Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end enterprise applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using React or Angular.
• Design and deploy cloud-native applications and services on AWS.
• Integrate applications with internal/external APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and AWS services.
• Develop event-driven and asynchronous solutions using AWS and messaging technologies.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and application data-access components.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application, API, cloud, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Participate in technical design, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and release planning.
