Job summary

Volto Consulting is seeking a senior Java developer to design and build scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot. You will work with RESTful services, perform UI responsiveness work, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires deep experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, testing frameworks, and performance tuning of front-end UI components. Plano, TX on-site role with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in design and development using Java/Spring Boot Microservices.
• Experience in Java, J2EE, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, UML, Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
• Experience in Spring Boot, Eclipse, GIT, JENKINS, CI/CD, JIRA, JUnit testing.
• Experience and exposure in RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL.
• Experience and exposure in NoSQL Database like MongoDB, Document DB.
• Proficient with CSS-preprocessor e.g. SASS and hands-on experience in CSS frameworks e.g. Bootstrap.
• Experience with integrating RESTful services.
• Experience in developing responsive UI design to support multiple view port.
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies.
• Experience working with testing frameworks Jasmine, Karma etc.
• Experience in building scalable application.
• Experience in performance tuning of UI application.
• Experience in Search Engine Optimization and writing Search Engine Optimized code.
