Global Business Ser. 4u in Livonia, MI is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, write, and maintain high-quality, scalable software in an Agile environment.

You will lead development efforts, mentor juniors, and help drive architectural decisions across backend Java with Spring and frontend React/JS components. The role requires 7+ years IT experience, strong Java ecosystem knowledge, and experience with microservices, Bloomreach CMS, and modern frontend tooling.

Description

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, REST, SOAP, Microservices, GIT, JUnit, Mockito.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in ReactJS, Node JS.
• Must be able to understand existing development stack involving microservices and react apps and contribute to team goals.
• Experience with content management system like Bloomreach.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Hands on experience of working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with modern front‑end build pipelines and tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• JavaScript Unit Testing (e.g., Jest).

The Senior Java Developer is responsible for designing, writing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and high-performance application software in an Agile environment. The Senior Java Developer will also mentor junior developers and take on leadership responsibilities as needed.
