Job summary

Talentrix AI in Atlanta seeks a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain Java-based applications, spanning front-end Angular UI and back-end services.

You will work with Spring Boot microservices, Docker/Kubernetes on AWS EKS, IBM WebSphere, and relational databases, applying MVC and common design patterns, with a focus on migrating to microservices.

Qualifications

• 7 years of development experience with Java 6.0/J2EE components.
• Experience with RAD 7.5 or newer IDEs.
• Knowledge of OOAD and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with Batch Jobs and web services development.
• Proficiency with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java 6.0/J2EE components including JSP and JDBC.
• Build and maintain Angular UI and microservices.
• Implement Spring Boot microservices and containerization.
• Participate in migration from monolith to microservices on AWS EKS.
• Design and review code following MVC and design patterns.
• Collaborate with team members and troubleshoot issues.
• Leverage ES and DB2/Oracle databases when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java 6.0 and J2EE application components such as JSP, Custom Tag libraries, JavaScript, Session EJBs, and JDBC
• Utilize Java Integrated Development Environments (IDE) like RAD 7.5 or above
• Implement Object Oriented analysis and design using design patterns like Singleton, Factory, and DAO
• Understand and implement MVC architecture
• Develop Batch Jobs and web services
• Work with IBM Websphere Application Server 8.0 and relational databases like DB2 and Oracle
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Prior experience with Integrated Eligibility Systems is a plus
• Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot Microservices with Containerization and Cloud experience
• Migration from Monolithic to Microservices containerized using AWS EKS with Cloud Native Architecture
• Develop Angular UI and review microservices & Angular UI to align with existing monolithic functionality
• Conduct PoCs to integrate new tools/products and troubleshoot and resolve issues with EKS microservices
