Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Lansing, MI seeks a hands-on Senior Java Full Stack Application Architect to lead modernization of an e-commerce platform. You will design scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices, build REST APIs, and drive cloud-native initiatives using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software engineering, deep React experience, and hands-on experience with SFCC and headless commerce.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot.
Proficient in React for front-end development.
3+ years of microservices and cloud-native development.
Experience designing REST APIs, Kafka, and design patterns.
Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and automated testing.
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Headless/Composable Commerce experience.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
Lead e-commerce modernization and digital transformation projects.
Develop integrations for cart, checkout, catalog, search, order, and payment services.
Work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Support migration, performance optimization, testing, and production releases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership.
