Job summary

MPower Plus is seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Application Architect in Plano, TX to design and build enterprise-scale commerce applications. The role focuses on modernization, cloud-native solutions, and scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and React.

You will develop REST APIs, drive platform migrations, and implement AI-enabled enhancements while working with Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines in a contract-based engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years overall, including 5+ years in enterprise Java development.
• Preferred: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Headless/Composable Commerce, and large-scale retail or e-commerce platform migration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React.
• Build scalable REST APIs, backend services, and React-based UI components.
• Drive application modernization and platform migration initiatives.
• Develop integrations using Kafka, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement automated testing, performance optimization, and application security.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture decisions, and AI-enabled solutions.
