Job summary

Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is hiring a motivated Sr Software Developer to support a cutting-edge modeling and analytics framework for the U.S. Intelligence Community.

You will have the opportunity to work with technical leaders in cloud computing and data analytics to re-architect, modernize, and operationalize a critical tool used across the IC for real-time mission-critical decisions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of full life-cycle software development experience and TS/SCI

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development across all lifecycle stages (analysis, design, development, test, deployment, maintenance) using industry patterns and open source tools.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
• Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
• Designs and develops major enhancements to existing software.
• Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Meets with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Performs feasibility analyses on potential future projects for management.
• Assists in evaluating and recommending software packages and testing tools.
• Resolves software problems and implements improvements.
• Participates in development of program documentation.
