Job summary

PACE Anti-Piracy, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Java Engineer to support a large-scale infrastructure modernization.

You will work on high-throughput services, REST APIs, and Spring Boot components, with a path toward owning licensing and cryptography systems. The role requires 7+ years of Java, experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, and Agile methodologies, plus comfort with AI-assisted development tools. Candidates should be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Comfortable with Agile workflows and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• First 90 days: get up to speed on hybrid infrastructure and Java 8–25 codebase; contribute to REST APIs and Spring Boot services.
• First year: help consolidate services, improve reliability, and increase throughput as part of modernization.
• Longer term: take ownership of licensing and cryptography systems powering digital goods delivery.
