Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking an Enterprise - Senior Software Engineer to join our Maryland-based team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role targets Java-based software systems, containers, and microservices for complex projects.

The engineer will contribute to design, development, and testing across CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and modern tooling to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years' experience as a SWE in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software for CKCD development, test, and operational environments and CI/CD pipeline.
• Engineer software solutions following Agile methodologies, including SAFe ceremonies, using Java, Python, Jira, Git, Gitlab, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and related tools.
• Refactor Government systems to modular microservices architecture to maximize component reuse.
• Develop capabilities in Kubernetes environments for secure storage and retrieval of cryptographic products.
• Utilize microservices to reduce interdependencies and enable interoperability with the LMS.
