Job summary

Captivation Software LLC is seeking a senior Software Engineer to join a mission-focused development team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will contribute to a mission analytic platform using Java, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

The role requires deep SWE experience, a US security clearance (Top Secret/SCI) and a degree in CS. You will build and maintain scalable software for national defense programs, collaborating with teammates to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Senior software engineer on a development team working on a mission analytic platform.
• Develop and maintain software components using Java, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Provide developer support to teammates as needed.
