Job summary

JPMorganChase in Tampa seeks a Software Engineer III - Java/AWS to design and deliver scalable, secure software within the Payments Common Core Services team. You will contribute as a seasoned member of an agile squad, shaping solutions that support the firm's payments objectives.

You will develop production-ready Java code using Spring Boot and microservices, advocate secure coding practices, and leverage AI-assisted tools to improve quality, speed, and collaboration across the team.

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
Enterprise environment experience with CI/CD and databases.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting across complex problems.
Produces secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
Leverages AI coding tools to improve quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
Applies SDLC tools, including AI-assisted development, to improve automation and outcomes.
Produces architecture and design artifacts and ensures design constraints are met by code.
