Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking an experienced software professional to design and develop large-scale software for semiconductor equipment components.

You will lead complex projects, define specs, and test plans for lab tools while coordinating with internal and external customers on requirements and schedules. The role requires expertise in Java or C#, microservices, and AI-assisted development, including Claude, with strong OOP and algorithm skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java or C#.
• Experience with microservice architecture and AI-assisted development.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Semiconductor, Healthcare, or Medical Equipment industries is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop code for large scale complex software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and device with limited supervision.
• Lead and execute complex software projects.
• Define software specifications and test plan for test benches and the lab tools.
• Communicate with internal and external customers for requirement analysis, project schedule and software troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot a wide range of complex, difficult software problems; perform tests on code and enhancements.
