Job description

Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

CCAT is a key tower in Schwab Broker-Dealer Service Engineering. We build theSchwab Customer Identifier (SCID)— the unified identity layer that resolves the same client across Schwab affiliates and powers a true 360° view of every customer across all lines of business. As a Staff Engineer, you'll set the technical bar for how we build, how we adopt AI in our workflows, and how client-facing capabilities ship.

We're specifically seeking engineers shaped by product‑engineering environments, product companies, or in‑house engineering orgs — where you owned a system, not a statement of work. The bar at CCAT is high ownership and accountability: you treat the product as yours, you stay with what you ship, and you're measured by the outcome
