Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Java Developer to modernize a government information system. The role focuses on upgrading the technology stack, including Java components, Solr with ZooKeeper, Tomcat, and Oracle 19c integrations on Windows-based VMware.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise Java application development and a proven track record of upgrading complex software infrastructures in secure, regulated environments. The role involves planning and executing upgrades across the technology stack, including Apache Solr with ZooKeeper, Apache Tomcat, Apache Directory Studio, and Java/Python components running on Windows-based VMware infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Oracle 19c database integration, SAP Business Intelligence reporting frameworks, secure coding practices, and upgrading and migrating Solr index data is essential. Experience with PrimeFaces UI framework is a plus.
