Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, XML, and SQL. The candidate should have strong programming fundamentals and experience in developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA, Maven, and Git, and thrives in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in Java/J2EE
• Strong knowledge of SQL and XML
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java/J2EE applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop robust and scalable applications using Core Java and J2EE technologies.
• Develop and maintain application components using the Spring Framework.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Java code.
• Develop and consume application interfaces and integrate applications with other enterprise systems.
• Work with XML for data representation, configuration, and system integration.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and database operations.
• Perform database integration using Java-based technologies such as JDBC or ORM frameworks, where applicable.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Optimize application performance and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to application design and implementation.
• Follow coding standards, development best practices, security guidelines, and version-control processes.
