Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Developer for an onsite role at our Easton office in Columbus, OH (also Columbus/Dallas/Houston/Austin, Detroit, MI, or Chicago). The candidate will design, develop, integrate, and support Workflow/Case Solutions.

Responsibilities include building Java/J2EE apps, UI components with JavaScript/Dojo, RESTful APIs, and SQL; collaborating with analysts, QA, and infra teams; and adhering to SDLC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications and batch processes.
• Develop UI components and client‑side functionality using JavaScript and Dojo.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot database queries to support application functionality and performance.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs to support application integration and modernization initiatives.
• Integrate applications with backend systems and enterprise platforms.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design discussions, and technical solutioning.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.
• Adhere to established coding standards, security practices, and SDLC processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
