Job summary

Experis ManpowerGroup Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Java developer for on-site work in Warsaw.

The role focuses on design, implementation, and modernization of a monolithic system toward microservices, with 50% analytical duties and 50% development. Strong Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and REST knowledge are required. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, familiarity with legacy systems, and willingness to work in a Polish time zone.

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of Java (8+) and OO programming; Java 17 is a plus.
• At least 5+ years of experience; Regular/Senior level.
• Experience in independent design, implementation, documentation and testing.
• Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, JEE, RESTful APIs, Oracle.
• Practical experience with messaging queues, distributed systems, and JBoss/WildFly.
• Experience with Maven, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Nexus, Jira, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of IT solutions based on analytics and technical docs.
• Review and improve analytical documentation; maintain technical docs.
• Lead migrations toward microservices and modernize legacy Java 8 systems.
• Work with legacy code and a monolithic TMS system; participate in refactoring.
• Define and implement automated test cases; perform regression testing.
• collaborating with security improvements and vulnerability mitigation.
• Work in Scrum; ~50% analytical work and ~50% development; support rollout to new markets.
