Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer for an 11-month contract with hybrid work options in Charlotte, NC / Jersey City, NJ.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications within a microservices architecture, leveraging Spring and Oracle technology stacks. Key responsibilities include driving design activities, implementing RESTful services, and collaborating with QA and operations teams to ensure successful deployments and defect

Qualifications

8 years of experience with Java, Spring, Oracle.
Strong understanding of SOA concepts, Web services, and REST API.
Working experience in Spring, Hibernate and Core Java/J2EE.

Responsibilities

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains, and tests software applications for business units.
Actively work on and support application development and maintenance activities.
Participate in team discussions to understand and input system requirements.
Drive application design activities and develop software to meet specifications.
Collaborate with QA and performance teams to ensure tollgate requirements.
Coordinate with support teams to deploy software and resolve defects.
