We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in the HealthTech industry. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, where you will be tasked with designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, high-performance, scalable software products.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Java Developer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, including writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Ensuring designs comply with specifications, preparing and producing releases of software components.
• Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Developing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Troubleshooting production issues and providing timely solutions.
• Implementing, managing, and maintaining cloud-based environments in AWS and Azure.
• Utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Java Developer role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of proven hands-on Software Development experience.
• Profound insight into Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.).
• Extensive experience with Hibernate, JPA, and ORM frameworks.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Experience with test-driven development using tools like Mockito.
• Knowledge of building RESTful APIs.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Redis.

PLUSES

Understanding and experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of HIPPA compliance and regulations.
