Mapjects is seeking a senior Java developer to support design and development in a team environment. The ideal candidate is independent, driven, and proficient in building applications based on requirements and current web technologies.

You will work on interfaces, web services, and performance optimization, with potential project leadership responsibilities. Typically 5–7 years of related experience is expected, with occasional work in DC or VA.

• Proficiency in building web-based apps using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Senior-level, motivated team player with Agile experience.

Responsabilidades

• Support application development, prototyping, modeling.
• Support interfaces and web services (WSDL).
• Configure changes with ALM tools; identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Provide innovative, thorough, and practical solutions.
• Work independently; evaluate work upon completion against objectives.
• Possess leadership in projects; interact with senior customer personnel.
