Job summary

Two95 International Inc. seeks a Senior Java Developer for a 9-month contract-to-hire engagement. The role requires strong experience with Java, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.

Travel is expected around 80% to support client projects across West Coast, Texas, and Oklahoma. Rate is open to best possible, with potential for conversion. The candidate will mentor client developers, drive modern software practices, and help migrate legacy apps to cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience writing test-driven software development.
• Experience with development languages such as .NET and with other application frameworks, techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development and agile methodologies.
• Experience writing REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Knowledge of system integrations with NoSQL, Redis, and S3.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to pair with a customer's development team and guide them on leading-edge technologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• Experience writing test-driven software development
• Experience with development languages, such as .NET, Steel Toe and with other application frameworks, techniques and tools
• Experience in or knowledge of cloud-native development and agile development methodologies
• Experience writing Rest APIs and micro services-based applications
• Knowledge of system integrations with platforms, such as NoSQL db, Redis Cache, and S3
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work on challenging issues independently or in a team environment
• Ability to pair with a customer's development team and guide them on leading-edge technologies

Nice to have's:

• Understanding of cloud platforms and providers, such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
