Job description

Senior Backend Java developer required to work remotely from Eastern Europe (Romania or Poland). The focus is for this developer to build critical core services across the client technology stack. This is a key role which is needed to continue the buildout and delivery of multiple services across this firm's Client Onboarding Workflow Expansion Project.

Rate: €50-55 per hour Hours: 7.5 hours per day

SKILLS REQUIRED

• You must have extensive experience in coding and application development using Java, Apache Camel, Oracle & Kafka.
• Any experience of Springboot, Spring framework, REST Services, JavaScript, Apache & FIX is preferred.
• Solid experience in integrating with high-speed messaging systems like Kafka.
• Hands on experience designing and developing the microservices application using Java, Apache Camel, Spring boot, RESTful, and Kafka.
• Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), IAM, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Glue, Cloud Formation, SNS/SQS, and Cloud watches
• Must have Capital Markets and/or Investment Banking experience.
• Experience with Shell scripting and Python a strong plus
• Proven capabilities in effective management of tasks, multi-tasking, delivery focus and hard working
• Ability to meet application needs without sacrificing deadlines and quality.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a global team. Good communication, critical thinker, can pick up things quickly and can work independently.
• Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with hands on experience with Java and Apache Camel to build micro services that are scalable and easy to maintain while following Agile methodologies, to achieve timely and quality deliverables.

The successful candidate should be familiar with building adaptors to consume batch as well as real-time messages, normalize the data in a uniform way and publish data onto messaging bus for downstream systems to consume.
