Job summary

Footbridge Federal in Centreville, VA seeks a skilled Java software engineer to architect and implement highly concurrent, JVM-tuned solutions. You will build scalable backends using Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Data JPA, and deploy on Tomcat within AWS and Linux environments.

You will create RESTful APIs, optimize data persistence with Oracle databases, and contribute to automated build pipelines using Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Eclipse.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in Core Java, including OOP, multithreading, and JVM performance tuning.
• Strong development experience with Spring Framework and Spring Data JPA.
• Proficiency with Oracle databases and Apache Tomcat.
• Hands-on Linux and AWS cloud environment experience.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins and Eclipse.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement object-oriented Java solutions with high concurrency.
• Build and maintain reliable data persistence layers using Spring Data JPA and Oracle databases.
• Configure, package, and deploy applications using automated build pipelines and version control.
• Run and support services hosted on Apache Tomcat within Linux and AWS environments.
• Create RESTful APIs and Spring Boot services to integrate with web applications.
