Qualifications

• 7+ years in data and software engineering.
• 5+ years Java data processing/pipeline experience.
• 5+ years PL/SQL development.
• 4+ years Oracle data solutions experience.
• 4+ years SQL & relational databases.
• 4+ years data integration across systems.
• 3+ years Kafka for data movement.
• 3+ years RESTful APIs development/integration.
• 3+ years GitHub/Jenkins/uDeploy/CI/CD tooling.
• 2+ years Docker production packaging/deployments.
• 2+ years production monitoring with Splunk.
• 4+ years stakeholder collaboration across teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/CE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise data pipelines.
• Develop Java-based data processing components connecting Oracle, Kafka, APIs, and files.
• Optimize complex PL/SQL queries and Oracle database components.
• Use Kafka for event-driven data movement and near-real-time processing.
• Collaborate with clients and engineers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues; use Splunk for monitoring.
• Utilize GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, Docker for CI/CD and release management.
• Work in a pod of data engineers on design, reviews, testing, and deployment.
