Spin.AI is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Lisbon. You will focus on backend services for our cybersecurity SaaS platform, utilizing Java and Spring Boot to manage complex workflows and integrations.

With a hybrid format, candidates not in Portugal may work remotely during the trial period with relocation to Lisbon afterward. This is a unique opportunity to influence technical decisions in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial backend development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Java 19 and MyBatis.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and confident SQL skills.
• Experience analyzing and optimizing query execution plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write SQL queries and optimize PostgreSQL performance.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
