Based in St Louis, MO, this onsite role offers a pay range of $35/hr–$40/hr. You will build robust backend systems with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices, deploy to AWS/Azure, and work with Kubernetes and Docker in a modern CI/CD environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java development for enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, REST API development and microservices.
• Cloud-native deployments on AWS and Azure, with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong teamwork and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain REST APIs to support client applications and services.
• Implement microservices with event-driven architecture using Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve performance.
• Ensure high availability and resilience through monitoring and automation.
