Job summary

Next Gen Software Solutions is seeking a Java Backend Developer for a 12-month contract in Alpharetta, GA, onsite. The role requires 8+ years of backend experience, deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Redis, Memcached, and cloud services, with strong CI/CD skills.

You will design, build, and support scalable, secure APIs and microservices, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a DevOps/Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Hands-on with Java Backend, K8 Micro Services, Redis, Memcached, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.
• Collaborate in DevOps/Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices and RESTful APIs using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage apps in Kubernetes environments for scalability and high availability.
• Implement caching with Redis or Memcached to optimize performance.
• Build event-driven architectures using Kafka and other messaging systems.
• Maintain databases (SQL and NoSQL) and optimize queries.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and monitoring with observability tools.
