Job summary

You will design, develop, and support enterprise applications within a post-trade domain, leveraging Java 17 where possible and Kafka-driven integrations. You should have 7+ years in Java (8+), Spring Boot 3, and experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms, relational databases, and Kubernetes in distributed environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java experience (Java 8 or higher).
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot 3.
• 3+ years of Kafka or alternative event-streaming platforms.
• 5+ years of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with distributed caching and in-memory data grids (Hazelcast).
• Proficiency with Git/Bitbucket, Jira, and Maven.
• Experience deploying and managing scalable applications on Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of capital markets and back-office technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational support of enterprise applications.
• 7+ years of experience in Java (Java 8 or higher) with strong expertise in Spring Boot 3.
• 3+ years of experience with Kafka or other event-streaming platforms such as RabbitMQ, Client Kinesis, or Azure ServiceBus.
• 5+ years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with distributed caching and in-memory data grid technologies, such as Hazelcast.
• Proficiency with software development and DevOps toolsets including Git/BitBucket, Jira, and Maven.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing scalable applications on Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of capital markets, with a strong understanding of back-office technology platforms and systems.
