Job summary

Cloud Analytics Technologies, LLC is seeking a senior backend engineer to design architectures and build MCP servers, tools, and APIs that securely expose curated data to AI agents and applications. You will collaborate with architects, data engineers, and application teams to translate business needs into scalable, reusable technical solutions.

Required skills include Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and experience with containerization and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python for backend services.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and reusable integration components.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Starburst/Trino preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs the architecture and develops MCP servers, tools, APIs, and data integration services to enable secure consumption of curated data by AI agents and applications.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and application teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure secure, high-performance data access services to query and expose curated data to downstream applications and AI agents.
• Apply strong software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization.
