Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Principal Java Developer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will architect, design, and build enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems using Java, Spring, and modern frontend frameworks.

You will own end-to-end development, collaborate with product teams and DevOps, implement RESTful services, ensure security and performance, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine scalable Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop secure, well-tested production code with defensive security practices.
• Create responsive front-end components using React/Angular/Vue.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and trade-off analyses.
• Profile and optimize performance, JVM tuning, and API throughput.
• Maintain state management patterns for complex front-end apps.
• Develop comprehensive automated test suites (JUnit, Mockito, Cypress).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
