Job summary

SFE is seeking a Java Architect with AI to lead architecture for enterprise-scale systems in Phoenix, onsite. The position requires strong Java skills, AI integration capabilities, and experience with distributed architectures.

The candidate will work with AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices to deliver scalable solutions, including GenAI components, while ensuring security and governance. Onsite in Phoenix, contract role.

Qualifications

• Architect with proven enterprise system design and scale.
• Strong AI experience and hands-on AI integration.
• Expert Java 8/11/17/21+ with Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Design patterns, SOLID, DDD and clean architecture.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS messaging.
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Generative AI/LLMs integration in enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex AI.
• RAG, embeddings, vector DBs, prompt engineering.
• AI security, data privacy, governance.
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and modern DevOps.
