Job summary

InfoVision, Inc. seeks an Enterprise Java Architect to own the architecture of a large-scale, event-driven Java platform with Kafka-based messaging and distributed system patterns.

You will work with senior engineering leadership to define technical direction and drive hands-on implementation across the platform. This role emphasizes CQRS, Saga, and Event Sourcing, and cloud deployment across AWS/Azure/GCP in a hybrid Dallas environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Java/J2EE development with architectural experience.
• Deep Kafka internals knowledge including partitioning and exactly-once.
• Strong microservices, DDD, and distributed patterns like CQRS/Saga.
• Ability to defend architectural decisions and trade-offs at senior level.
• Experience with Spring Boot, containers, and one major cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-scale event-driven Java systems and set long-term roadmaps.
• Design and optimize Kafka streaming architectures, topics, and topology.
• Lead architectural decisions and communicate trade-offs to leadership.
• Provide hands-on leadership in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Apply DDD and distributed patterns to solve complex business problems.
• Standardize architecture practices across cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers on Kafka and enterprise architecture principles.
• Collaborate with DevOps for secure, scalable cloud deployments.
