Job summary

BuzzClan is seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst 6 to design, build, test, and support Java-based enterprise applications, including RESTful services with Spring Boot and Angular front-ends. The role emphasizes scalable, secure coding and collaboration with architects and analysts.

You will contribute to new development and production support, working with CI/CD pipelines and Git in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 5+ years of Spring Boot experience for RESTful APIs.
• 5+ years of Angular development experience.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and Git.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and performance tuning.
• Experience supporting Child Support applications or related programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test application programs, including new development and enhancements to existing modules.
• Provide production support, including issue analysis, bug fixes, testing, and deployment to production environments.
• Collaborate with Application Architects and Business Analysts to confirm and validate functional and technical designs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
• Analyze requirements, code, and test simple to moderately complex program modules, ensuring quality and compliance with design specs.
• Apply domain knowledge to all tasks and drive continuous improvement in coding practices and system performance.
