Job summary

Huntington is seeking an IS Technical Specialist to provide expert technical and consultative support on complex issues in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This full-time, in-office role emphasizes systems development and user-focused solutions.

You will analyze, design, and implement systems per user specs, troubleshoot hardware/software problems, and stay current with industry trends. Collaboration with IT and business groups, training support, and potential project leadership are part of the duties.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required; 5+ years of related experience.
4+ years experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
Microsoft Office experience preferred.
Experience in multi-platform environment preferred.
Ability to balance development and support roles.

Responsibilities

Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
May serve as project leader for specific projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
