Job summary

Encore Talent Solutions seeks a Senior IT Systems Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across corporate and manufacturing environments in Hawthorne, CA. You will own complex stacks spanning Windows, Linux, cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, and security.

The role demands hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem solutions, plus strong scripting and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

7+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
3+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
Hands-on experience with hybrid Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and on-premises AD.
Experience with Windows Server DNS/DHCP/GP/RADIUS/NPS.
Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) administration and security hardening.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and hybrid AD environments.
Manage endpoints via Intune: enrollment, compliance, app deployment, Autopilot, patching.
Deploy and secure Windows Server, Ubuntu, and Red Hat Linux systems.
Support AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and RADIUS/NPS.
Manage virtualization and enterprise SAN storage; provisioning and capacity planning.
Administer AWS (EKS, S3, IAM) and cloud networking; cost optimization.
Deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters on-prem and in cloud.
Design and maintain Layer 2/3 networking across OT and corporate networks.
Lead security operations with Defender XDR, Sentinel, pfSense.
Develop automation scripts; lead root-cause analysis; document runbooks.
