Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in the United States is recruiting for a senior IT professional to support the mission of U.S. Cyber Command within the Cyber Excepted Service.

This Senior Work Level role focuses on enterprise IT systems, change management, and information assurance across DISA networks and services. A Top-Secret clearance is required and telework will be determined by mission needs.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail when reviewing IT-related work and data to ensure accuracy and consistency with standards.
• Customer service experience in maintaining relationships and tailoring IT products/services to customer needs.
• Oral communication to brief mid-level management and IT staff on status of IT systems and projects.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers enterprise systems and applications supporting customer service initiatives, including problem management, fault isolation, and knowledge management.
• Serves as the change management evaluation and approval authority for changes affecting DISA networks and circuits.
• Develops strategic IT plans, cost analyses, specifications, and budget inputs; measures performance and total cost of ownership.
• Develops and enforces enterprise standards across performance, capacity, change, security, and quality management disciplines.
• Evaluates and configures enterprise-standard COTS applications and operating systems; executes test and implementation plans; manages access rights and information security policies.
