Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced IT Storage professional to design, implement, and maintain scalable storage solutions across our technical IT ecosystem. You will work with infrastructure, systems, networks, and applications to ensure reliability and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in storage design and implementation, familiarity with VMware SRM, NetApp ONTAP Cloud Volumes, Linux, and cloud storage services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions and providing production support.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) and their storage services.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, test, implement, and automate technical IT storage solutions.
• Provide production monitoring and storage capacity management.
• Assist in data backup, recovery, DR, and cyber recovery testing.
• Collaborate on storage architecture design to align with enterprise goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and document technical processes.
