Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to support a mission-critical federal IT environment at Camp Lejeune, NC. The role focuses on Tier III engineering, troubleshooting, and operations for enterprise networking and IT infrastructure.

You will work on network modernization, system upgrades, and maintaining operational continuity, with requirements including IAT Level III, CCNP preferred, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience focused on enterprise networking.
• Strong experience with IP networking, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and IPv6.
• Experience providing Tier III network troubleshooting and engineering support.
• IAT Level III certification is required.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• CCNP is preferred; waiver may be available for highly qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III troubleshooting and engineering support for enterprise networks, IT systems, and storage networking.
• Install, integrate, configure, and operate complex IT systems.
• Design and oversee network upgrades, refreshes, and new installations.
• Troubleshoot IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Coordinate changes with cybersecurity teams.
• Support enterprise, regional, and local network operations to ensure availability.
• Assist with modernization and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
