Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of information technology experience with leadership in design and management of large-scale hybrid cloud environments and on-premises data centers.
• Active certifications required for compliance with Department of Defense requirements (DoD).
• Experience engineering Zero Trust Architecture, micro‑segmentation, and ICAM solutions.
• Experience applying DISA STIGs and navigating RMF.
• Experience supporting secure IT infrastructure in DoD, Navy, or federal labs is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, network and systems administration, cloud technologies, identity management, configuration management, and security compliance.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and prepare concise documentation.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior IT technical lead supporting NRL contracting activities across computing, networking, and information systems.
• Design, manage, and sustain large-scale hybrid cloud environments and on‑prem data centers.
• Engineer, implement, and sustain Zero Trust Architecture and ICAM capabilities.
• Apply DISA STIGs and RMF to maintain security and accreditation.
• Coordinate with technical, security, and program personnel to identify IT requirements and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Provide oversight for configuration, security hardening, maintenance, monitoring, and lifecycle support of IT resources.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and security artifacts.
