Job summary

Field AI is seeking a senior IT operations engineer to own the systems that keep a robotics organization secure and productive. You will manage macOS/Linux endpoints, identity, SaaS access, and lab networking, with hands-on troubleshooting and strategic design capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fast-paced startups, deep Linux/macOS expertise, and experience with JumpCloud, CrowdStrike, and cloud services. This on-site Irvine role offers growth and impact in a security‑conscious team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT engineering experience in a fast-paced startup.
• Deep Linux internals knowledge and macOS administration at scale.
• Production experience administering JumpCloud and MDM platforms.
• Hands-on networking with professional gear and VPNs.
• Experience managing Google Workspace, GitHub, AWS, and Jira Cloud.
• Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon and endpoint security tuning.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own endpoint fleet lifecycle management using JumpCloud MDM.
• Operate office and lab networks, switches, firewalls and VPNs end-to-end.
• Deploy and tune CrowdStrike Falcon; lead incident response.
• Partner with Security/Legal on SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls.
• Serve as senior technical escalation and develop runbooks.
