Job summary

Twenty Technologies is seeking an IT Security Engineer to build and maintain our security infrastructure across networks, systems, and applications. You will partner with development and operations to embed security into our culture and protect digital assets.

The role requires 5+ years of security experience, hands-on expertise in network security, cloud security, and SIEM/IDS/IPS, plus familiarity with regulatory standards. Collaborative environment with a focus on protecting critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional IT security experience with expertise in at least two domains.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network protocols; experience with firewalls and segmentation.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS platforms (Splunk, Snort, Suricata, ELK).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network security architecture (firewalls, VPNs, DMZs).
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing; remediate findings.
• Monitor 24/7 using SIEM tools; investigate and respond to incidents.
• Manage IAM and MFA; data loss prevention and encryption for sensitive data.
• Hardening of servers/workstations; patch management.
• Provide security awareness training to staff; incident analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (NIST, CIS, OWASP, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
