Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation, a West Palm Beach based leader in integrated cane sugar operations, seeks an IT Enterprise Release Management Lead. You will own the release lifecycle, protect production environments, and enable business-Casual changes while coordinating across multiple applications and lines of business.

The role requires 15 years in IT, strong project and release management experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills are required.
• Experience with IT risk management and governance is expected.
• Ability to lead complex programs and communicate with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and drive adoption of the release strategy.
• Build and track the IT release calendar.
• Forward plan release windows and cycles across a portfolio.
• Manage risks and resolve issues affecting scope, schedule and quality.
• Measure and monitor progress of release activities.
• Participate in release readiness reviews, milestone reviews and go/no-go reviews.
• Communicate release details and schedules to all relevant parties.
• Inform senior management of exposure to release risk and mitigation strategies.
• Produce deployment, runbooks and implementation plans for releases.
• Lead and coordinate production cutover activities for major releases.
• Lead strategic direction for release management processes and tools; establish and improve processes.
• Lead strategic direction for automated testing; drive adoption of testing tools.
• Work with AMS Lead and AMS Manager on change management and governance.
