Job summary

Uline is seeking a Senior IT Purchasing Specialist to own procurement strategy for IT hardware, software and services across North America. You will leverage data and market insight to drive sourcing decisions and cost savings, ensuring our teams have the technology they need to succeed.

Join a large in-house tech group and partner with IT and business leaders to optimize spend, negotiate contracts, and continuously improve procurement processes. This role is on-site at our Uline facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of purchasing, vendor relations and contract negotiations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills; Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement strategy for IT hardware, software and services, aligning sourcing decisions with business goals.
• Lead vendor relationships, including negotiations, contract optimization and performance management.
• Analyze technology spend and market trends, leveraging reporting and dashboards to inform sourcing strategy and drive cost savings.
• Oversee and continuously improve procurement processes, including purchase order workflows, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with IT and business leaders across North America to align purchasing priorities and influence decisions through data-driven insights.
