Job summary

Canadian Bank Note Co. (CBN STI) seeks an IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of identification system solutions for U.S. government clients, based in Albany, NY, in a hybrid work model.

You will own scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate cross-functional teams; manage risks and communications; and ensure on-time, within-budget outcomes. The role offers stability, health and life insurance, 401(k) matching, and a salary range of $110k–$140k per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or similar certification.
• Knowledge of IT systems, project planning, scheduling, risk management, budgeting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365, Project, Jira.
• 8+ years of experience managing large IT projects.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope with stakeholders and deliverables.
• Allocate resources and build detailed timelines.
• Create and manage budget and track expenditures.
• Develop baseline schedules and monitor progress.
• Report milestones and schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate teams and resolve conflicts to keep project on track.
• Produce regular progress reports.
