Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and execute complex, enterprise-wide IT initiatives within a healthcare environment. This role is essential for aligning IT projects with organizational goals, ensuring successful implementation, and driving technology solutions that support operational excellence.
Please note that this is a contract position.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational project management practices.
Define project scope, objectives, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
Facilitate communication and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Execution & Risk Mitigation:
Identify project risks, establish mitigation strategies, and adjust plans as needed.
Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, and compliance standards.
Change & Communication Management:
Lead structured change management efforts for all large-scale initiatives.
Create and execute communication plans to ensure effective project rollout and engagement.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate project documentation including scope, timelines, budget tracking, and post-implementation evaluations.
Provide regular status reports and project updates to leadership and team members.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Equivalent work experience (6–8 years) will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
7–10 years of progressive experience in IT project management, preferably in a healthcare or large enterprise setting.
Proven track record in managing multi-phase IT infrastructure and systems projects.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including networking, server systems, security, and enterprise-level technology platforms.
Experience with patient engagement technologies, digital signage, and real-time location systems (RTLS) is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred):
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Relevant certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, or Apple
