Job summary

Phaxis is seeking an experienced lead Project Manager to drive technology and data initiatives in New York. You will lead complex projects from planning through delivery, align cross-functional teams, and report progress to executives.

The ideal candidate has 6–8+ years in project leadership, experience with data transformation, platform modernization or migrations, strong planning and vendor coordination, and PMP or related certification.

Qualifications

6 to 8+ years leading complex technology and data-focused projects.
Experience managing large-scale data transformation, platform modernization, or migration initiatives.
Strong planning and execution skills including timelines, dependencies, resources, and priorities.
Experience partnering with business, technology, and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives.
Excellent communication translating technical details for leadership.
Hands-on experience creating roadmaps, schedules, milestones, and reporting.
Experience coordinating external vendors, contractors, and technology partners.
PMP certification or relevant education preferred; banking/financial services data environments a plus.
